Due to the recent increase in COVID-19 transmission and in accordance with state and federal public health guidelines, masks are once again required when visiting Springfield Senior Center. Thank you for helping us protect our community.
Corn Hole and Shuffleboard will take place on Friday, April 1 at 1 p.m. The Hand & Foot cards will take place on Wednesday, April 13 at 1 p.m. The board games will take place on Tuesday, March 29 at 1 p.m. Bingo will take place on Friday, April 14. 8, at 1 p.m. Come and have fun! We now have indoor walking in the gym on Mondays from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to noon.
We will have a movie afternoon on Wednesday, March 30 at 1 p.m. Come see a movie and enjoy some popcorn.
The Knit Wits will meet on Thursday, April 7 at 1 p.m. This is a group of knitters or crocheters of all skill levels, or if you just want to learn. We have knitting needles, hooks and yarn available. Interested, introduce yourself and have fun.
Our first trip of the year will be to the Ogunquit Playhouse in Maine to see the “Cher” show. Join us as we travel to Ogunquit on Wednesday May 18th. Lunch will be at Warrens Lobster House, and the trip to the “When Pigs Fly” bakery is also a popular stop. Register today. The price is $149 for members, $179 for non-members. At this time we need a few more people to sign up to make this trip possible, the deadline to sign up is Friday April 15th. Proof of vaccination and photo ID are required for the Playhouse.
The Sunapee Luncheon Cruise takes place on Wednesday, June 29. Registration will begin on Monday, April 18. Active members at 9 a.m. and non-members at 10:30 a.m. The price for this trip is $55 for active members and $75 for non-members.

— New London Playhouse with lunch served before.
— Lunch cruise on Lake Champlain.
— Essex Stream Train and River Boat with lunch served.
– Three-day Nantucket Island from Sunday September 11 to Tuesday September 13.
Senior Solutions’ Tracy Blanchard will be available at the Senior Center on the first and third Tuesday mornings from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. each month to answer Medicare questions. You can call the center to schedule an appointment.
Appointments will be required for foot clinics. You can call the center to schedule one. The price for this service will always be $20. Janet Hunter RN, will be offering clinics on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
