NOVATO, CA —The Novato Outdoor Summer Concert Series is back.

The city of North Bay has announced that it will return to the Concerts on the Green and Hot Amphitheater Nights outdoor concert series after the cancellation of free Saturday night events last summer amid the pandemic.

Guests are encouraged to bring their own picnic blankets and lawn chairs.

Outdoor food and drink is allowed in each set.

Unvaccinated guests are required to wear masks and no dogs are allowed.

The Summer Concert Series is presented by the Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services of Novato.

“We look forward to seeing members of our community enjoy our in-person events once again,” PRCS Deputy Director Katie Gauntlett said in a statement.

“The return of our highly anticipated summer concert series is just the start, and we have even more Novato fun planned for this year!”

The Concerts on the Green series will take place at Novato Civic Green (901 Sherman Ave.).

The series premieres July 17 with country artist Buck Ford. Pacific Standard will play American-style music on August 7, and pop rock artist Simon Lunche will close the series on August 21.

The Hot Amphitheater Nights will be held at Hamilton Amphitheater (601 N. Hamilton Pkwy.).

The Peelers will perform the top 40 mashups and medleys on July 31, and ’80s tribute band Careless Whisper will close the summer concert series on August 28.

All shows in the Concerts on the Green and Hot Amphitheater Nights outdoor concert series will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
