BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) – Beginning with Friday’s Lake Street Dive show, spectators at Les Schwab Amphitheater will have access to free COVID-19 testing before each event, the venue announced Friday.

The amphitheater recently began requiring all concert attendees aged 12 and over to present proof of vaccination or proof of a negative COVID test within 72 hours of the show they are attending.

The site said it was partnering with Curative, a provider of essential health services, to provide rapid PCR and antigen testing.

Curative will have a mobile clinic located in the parking lot on the west side of the Old Mill district, adjacent to the Les Schwab amphitheater, daily concert from noon to 7 p.m.

“This is just the next step in safely and responsibly organizing shows now,” said Beau Eastes, Marketing Director of Les Schwab Amphitheater.

The Les Schwab Amphitheater said it has been following public health updates closely, communicating with public authorities, including Bend City Council, and using several COVID-19 security techniques since the start of the concert season 2021.

All vendors and staff at Les Schwab Amphitheater are fully vaccinated, and the site has placed additional sanitation stations around the site, offers free masks at the janitor’s tent, and is now cashless at all points of sale. sale.
