HomeAid Houston’s 15th annual Project Playhouse called Union Station, designed and built by Legend Homes, is moving full steam ahead with stops in July at Minute Maid Park at lobby level in Section 150 where fans can see road signs that represent the gambling den and take pictures. Union Station will also have a video on the Minute Maid Jumbotron during Astros home games in July. Union Station playhouse has air conditioning, TV, window seat, toy storage, game table, climbing wall and a roof terrace with a telescope. It is ideal for backyards.

This annual Project Playhouse fundraiser is a charitable collaboration with the Astros Foundation which has raised over $ 1 million since its inception in 2006.

“The design of Union Station is inspired by the iconic Union Station in Minute Maid Park, which recalls the charm and classic look of a real train station,” said James Miller, president of HomeAid Houston. “Union Station Gaming House, with its unique amenities and design, is sure to build the lucky family to win it, memories for generations.”

“Legend Homes is honored to have been selected as the builder of the Playhouse 2021 project in conjunction with HomeAid Houston and the Astros Foundation,” said Blake Roberts, CEO of Legend Homes. “We looked forward to the opportunity to work alongside both organizations to bring our love of home building to this unique project that will positively impact the Houston community and the lives of Houston’s homeless people.”
