Do Las Vegas bettors have a Kiss line? Maybe they should.

In February 2019, the current edition of the still stunning 48-year-old group presented their “End of the Road World Tour” farewell date in San Diego at Viejas Arena. Then came the announcement of Kiss’s farewell concert in September 2020 here at North Island Credit Union Amphitheater, which was slated for 20 years after Kiss’ first farewell tour.

The 2020 show here has been pushed back to this week, as have many other Kiss dates, due to the coronavirus pandemic. Over the past month, the group postponed a number of concerts after co-founders Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley were diagnosed with COVID-19 (despite being vaccinated).

But whatever. With Kiss’s 50th birthday just 16 months away and their farewell tour running until next July in Amsterdam, does anyone really think this is the end of the road for the band? If so, there are bettors in Vegas who would love to hear from you.

7:30 p.m. Saturday. North Island Credit Union Amphitheater, 2050 Entertainment Circle, Chula Vista. $ 39.50 to $ 275.50, plus service charges. Wearing a mask is recommended for participants who are not fully immunized.
