The Palmdale Playhouse, 38334 10th St. East, will feature a wide variety of entertainment and holiday events to celebrate the season.

“Holidays are always fun at Palmdale Playhouse and this year we’ve put together a great program of events that has something for everyone,” said Kevin Altobelli, Palmdale Recreation Manager. “New this year is seat auto-selection for all Playhouse events. 7 p.m., November 27: Sharpo! Courtroom circus

People against Santa Claus and other cases. In this interactive show inspired by ‘People’s Court’ / ‘Judge Judy’, the humorous and sarcastic judge hears short, improvised cases featuring members of the public as plaintiffs, defendants and jurors in the Courtroom Circus, culminating with the main event – the trial of Santa Claus. Tickets cost $ 24 for adults and $ 12 for seniors, students, military, and those 12 and under.

November 30: Santa’s Wonderland

Jolly Old St. Nick will meet and welcome visitors from 10 am to 2 pm Tuesday, November 30, December 7 and 14; 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursdays December 2, 9 and 16; and from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturdays December 4, 11 and 18. The cost is $ 5 per family and includes the tour, a 5 “x7” photo frame cover and a gift bag with a treat and activity for each child aged 12 and under. Reservations are required and can be made at www.PalmdalePlayhouse.com Reservations for the week of November 30 can be made from November 15, for the week of December 7, from November 22; and for the week of December 14, starting November 29. Those interested are encouraged to register early. Pedestrians will not be accepted.

6 p.m., December 4: “Christmas celebration”

Dance Evolution and Palmdale Theater Dance present “Christmas Celebration”, with musical numbers ranging from “Twelve Days of Christmas” to “Plum Puddin ‘” and a hip-hop groove set to “Joy” by artist Lacrae. Tickets cost $ 15 for adults and $ 12 for seniors, students, military, and ages 12 and under.

2 p.m., December 5: Sharpo: Magical Family Holiday Matinee for Kids

This interactive magic show with Sharpo! and magical holiday elves and fairies are designed for a younger audience. Tickets cost $ 15 for adults and $ 5 for seniors, students, military, and ages 12 and under.

December 11 at 7 p.m .: CHiPS for Kids Toy Drive and live broadcast with BOBFM

California Highway Patrol agents will collect toys for children on Center Court, inside the Antelope Valley Mall.

7:30 p.m., Friday December 17: “Making Spirits Bright”.

West Coast Classical Adagio String Orchestra, Prelude Strings Orchestra, Jazz Improvisation, Flute Choir, Wind Ensemble and Encore Strings Orchestra present “Making Spirits Bright”. Beginner to professional level musicians perform a program filled with holiday music. Tickets cost $ 10 for adults and $ 7 for seniors, students, military, and those 12 and under.

1 p.m. to 3 p.m., December 18: BOBFM Live Broadcast

BOBFM will host a live show with Santa Claus on Center Court, inside the Antelope Valley Shopping Center.

7:30 p.m., December 18: “Holiday Sounds”

West Coast classical concerts and symphony orchestras present “Sounds for the Holidays”. Two full orchestras of 50 musicians will perform holiday favorites. Tickets cost $ 15 for adults and $ 12 for seniors, students, military, and those 12 and under.
