Gabe Mollica will make his Off-Broadway debut with Solo: A Show About Friendship, which held a limited run of eight performances at the Soho Playhouse from November 2-5 and 9-12. All shows will start at 9 p.m.

“I turned 30, and it occurred to me that I had no friends,” Mollica says at the head of the show, after which he tries to explain why, guiding the audience through the “30-year-old brothers” in his life, his teenage relationships, his first stand-up, and more. The work has previously played at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the Winnipeg Fringe Festival, as well as performances in Dallas, Chicago, Los Angeles, Albany and Dublin.

Chris Gethard will be the special guest for the November 2 performance.

Solo is produced by Caitlin Cook, with Ophira Eisenberg as creative consultant and Greg Wallach as story producer.
