Ridgefield is celebrating July 4th in style this year! Not only have the fireworks been reinstated for Monday, July 5, but the city, in partnership with The Ridgefield Playhouse and CHIRP, is presenting a free July 4 concert in the park on Independence Day!
âWe felt like this year was even more of a celebration than usual,â says First Selectman Rudy Marconi, âand what better way to celebrate our country’s freedom than with the amazing big band Russ Kassoff and our own award-winning resident Debbie Gravitte on vocals. ”
Indeed, the winner of the Tony Award Debbie Gravitte will be joined by the incredible Big Band sounds by Russ Kassoff and his orchestra on July 4 at 4 p.m. at Ballard Park. The Ridgefield Playhouse and CHIRP both helped coordinate this effort with the city, which will FREE for all Ridgefield residents July 4 at Ballard Park.
