It’s about a moment, that moment when you think you know where you are …

This groundbreaking musical put Tony Award-winning songwriter-lyricist Jason Robert Brown on the map. From the deck of a Spanish sailboat bound for a new land to the edge of a Fifth Avenue penthouse, Songs for a New World takes the audience through time to meet a surprising array of characters on the verge of making a life-changing decision. Brown (Honeymoon in Vegas, Parade, Madison County Bridges) weaves their stories into a powerful collection of songs that examine life, love, and the choices we make.
