Cowboy Junkies is about to come back to The Ridgefield Playhouse to Saturday, February 5, 2022

Anyone who has followed Cowboy Junkies’ three-decade journey knows that the group has always stuck to their unique artistic vision. In 1988, Cowboy Junkies proved that there was an audience that expected something calm, beautiful, and reflective. The Trinity Session was like a whisper cutting through the noise. Peaking at 26 on the top 200, he stood out amid the flash and exhilaration that came to define the late ’80s with (among other things) a serious and singing cover of Lou’s “Sweet Jane”. The now classic recording combined folk, blues and rock in a way never heard before and has sold over a million copies. Cowboy Junkies is set to return to the Ridgefield Playhouse on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 8 p.m., as part of the 068 Singer Songwriter Magazine series.
