It’s the season. As outdoor concerts come back to life this summer, August brings a diverse roster of artists to Indianapolis – and ’90s kids and early 2000s music fans will certainly be delighted.
Here are the upcoming concerts to watch at the TCU Amphitheater in White River State Park, 801 West Washington St.:
Harry Connick Jr.
The Grammy Award-winning singer kicks off his “Time to Play!” Summer tour In Indianapolis. The tour comes just months after the release of Connick Jr.’s latest album “Alone With My Faith,” which he wrote and released during the pandemic.

3 doors down
The rock band is celebrating the 20th anniversary of their multi-platinum debut album “The Better Life”, with special guest Seether. They kicked off the nationwide tour this summer, after The Pandemic rescheduled their original tour dates to 2020. The band’s debut single “Kryptonite” put them in the spotlight and placed them in the Top 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts in 2000. .

Jason mraz
The Grammy-winning artist will present his latest album “Look For The Good”, with special guest Southern Avenue. Mraz recently hit 1 billion streams on Spotify with his classic “I’m Yours” and catchy lyrics in the 2002 single “The Remedy (I Won’t Worry)” remains a favorite.

Lindsey Stirling
The âhip hop violinistâ hits the road for her âArtemisâ tour, along with Canadian singer Kiesza. Stirling previously performed in Indianapolis in 2014, and you might also recognize her from her 2010 stint on “America’s Got Talent”.

Counting crows
Counting Crows arrives in Indianapolis following the release of their new album “Butter Miracle Suite One”, the group’s first album in seven years. Frontman Adam Duritz teased the album and the tour earlier this year on his YouTube cooking show. The alternative rock group was one of the bands dominating the radio waves of the 1990s, and their album “August and Everything After” had several chart-topping hits, including “Mr. Jones” and “Round Here”.
