Wiltshire Creative has announced a variety of events and activities to bring the people of Salisbury into the festive spirit.

1. Snow White and Happy Ever After Beauty Salon

Spend a magical time in the main house of the Salisbury Playhouse with its production of Snow White and Mike Akers’ Happy Ever After beauty salon, as well as a program of festive events and activities at the Salisbury Arts Center.

Snow White and Beauty Salon Happy Ever After, a magical 50s fairytale wonderland, features breathtaking live music, dazzling design, puppets and laughing entertainment, the show will delight the whole family this Christmas. It runs until December 31.

2. Jazz dynamos

The Jazz Dynamos jazz quartet will perform at the arts center on December 10.

3. Solve the murder mystery

Tim Benzie’s Solve-Along Murder-Mystery is on December 3, a live “solvealong” alongside a classic Murder She Wrote episode.

4. Barnstormers

For comedy fans, there will be a festive edition of the popular Barnstormers Comedy Nights on December 17th.

5. Christmas workshops

The festive offering also includes plenty of opportunities to get creative in the studio spaces of the Salisbury Arts Center and its fully-equipped pottery studio, including a five-week class on the Make Your Christmas Decorations pottery workshop and the Christmas wrapping paper with Bridget Timoney, Willow Christmas Trees with Louise Brown, and festive crafts with Wiltshire Scrapstore.

“This exciting program offers something for everyone; whether it is evenings with friends, craft workshops for children and adults as well as an endearing family show and much more.
