Gulfshore Playhouse Education’s GREASE production, presented by STAR Academy, tells the classic story of Danny and Sandy and all the high school drama.

This GREASE production was so much fun. The students at Gulfshore Playhouse are clearly passionate about performing and they have done a great job presenting such a well-known musical. Sandy was played by Cadence Schultz, and she was spectacular. She embodied Sandy’s personality perfectly and her singing was phenomenal. His “Hopelessly Devoted to You” was one of the best moments of the series. It was a lot of fun watching the ups and downs of her relationship with Danny, who was played by Tony Garcia-Meyer. BWW Review: GREASE at the Gulfshore Playhouse

Rizzo was played by Alexis Camina, and she did a great job. She perfectly showcased Rizzo’s strong personality and also had a wonderful voice. The rest of the Pink Ladies, Frenchy (Grace Serrano), Marty (Angela Keon) and Jan (Avery Roschek), were equally wonderful. All the ladies in this production really shone. I loved seeing them play alongside the Greasers, Danny, Kenickie (Anthony Soto), Doody (Matthew Clay), Roger (Gavin Ott) and Sonny (Lantz Hemmert).

I loved the set for this production, designed by Alexander K. It was such a fun and unique set for GREASE, and I think it worked perfectly for this production. Gulfshore Playhouse Education Director Steven Calakos ran this production, and he did a great job with these students. Michael Snyder was the musical director for this production and also did a great job putting this show together.
